GIFT SHOP NEWS

Today is your last Sunday to see what last minute Christmas Gifts you can find in our Gift Shop. Our Gift Shop will not be open next Sunday, Christmas Day. Look for us again on January 1. Don’t forget the wide variety of "must see" beautiful hand-made Schwaroski Crystal Christmas earrings, in both clip and pierced styles.

CRAFTY LADIES NEWS

Our weekly craft group, the "Crafty Ladies", gather every Tuesday at 9:30am in our Craft Room. New Faces are wanted and welcomed!

YEAR END CONTRIBUTION NOTES

End-of-the-year contributions, to be included on your 2011 tax return, can be handled in one of the following ways: Placed in the collection plate by Sunday Dec. 25th. Dropped off at the church office no later than 4p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29th. (Office Closed Dec. 30th) Mailed to the church office at 401 West Henry Street, Punta Gorda, FL 33950, and remember, per IRS regulations, POSTMARK MUST READ 2011, regardless of the date on your check.

2012 OFFERING ENVELOPES NOW AVAILABLE

For all those who submitted a pledge card for our 2012 budget, your offering envelopes are on the table in the Narthex in alphabetical order. Do not use these 2012 envelopes until after January 1st. If you have not yet turned in your pledge card, extras are available on the Narthex table.

PRACTICE PIANO NEEDED

Our Choir is in desperate need of a new or gently used spinet (low back) or baby grande piano. The current piano is on its last leg, and has been professionally determined to be beyond cost-effective repair. If you know of a piano that needs a new church home, our choir would appreciate the donation.

ALTAR FLOWERS FOR 2012

The 2012 Altar Flower Chart has now been posted on the bulletin board, across from our Gift Shop. The cost will again remain $45.00 per Sunday. Dates will fill up fast, so if you wish to purchase Altar Flowers in Memory of a Loved One, or in Thanksgiving of something special in your life, sign-up on the Flower Chart today. Please also fill out a pink reservation slip upon sign-up.

NEWSLETTER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

3 or 4 volunteers are needed on Wednesday, Dec. 28th, at 1pm, to fold and label the January issue of our Newsletter. Our new copier already collates the paper, so the entire process is much quicker and should be completed in less than 1 hour & 15 minutes. Please sign-up on the Narthex table if you can assist with this simple yet important volunteer ministry.

CHRISTMAS MEMORIAL FLOWERS AND GREENS

The annual Memorial Greens mailing has gone out. If you are not on our mailing list, and wish to purchase memorial flowers and greens, extra slips and envelopes are on the Narthex table.
