Admission
to Communion at Good Shepherd - Understanding
that the Sacrament of Baptism is the only basic requirement
for receiving communion within the Episcopal Church and
following the ancient teachings of the Christian church,
Good Shepherd encourages children of all ages to participate
in the worship services of the church and join us in reception
of communion.

Confirmation
of Young Adults - Confirmation is the confirming
of our Baptismal promises. As such, Confirmation is no longer
administered to the very young. It is more appropriate that
Confirmation be administered to young adults in their teen
years. The Confirmation preparation program at Good Shepherd
is normally a 12 month program
